On Nov. 8, 1992, Angela "Mischelle" Lawless was murdered on the exit ramp of the interstate near her home in rural Missouri. Less than two years later, an 18-year-old man named Josh Kezer was convicted of the crime. Kezer was exonerated in 2009 on an "actual innocence" ruling. This podcast examines the investigation of the murder, and whether law enforcement intentionally convicted an innocent man while protecting the state's star witness from suspicion. Great podcast!!!
I’m from Fredericktown and I went to school with Doug. I lived a few miles down the same highway he lived on. I considered him a friend and when I heard he had passed away I was saddened for his family and friends because he was always laughing or goofing around and for a family and this world to lose him it has to be unbareable. So thank you for this podcast and shedding light into how corrupt the law enforcement is.

I’ve been listening to your well researched podcast and, for the most part I am intrigued and want to keep going. However, every episode sounds like you’re reading from a script and you often stumble over your words as you read. It makes it hard for me to continue listening.
