How To Run Your Own Race: The Secret To A Sub 1:30 Half Marathon, Racing When You Don't Have An Edge, & Finding Self Motivation

How To Run Your Own Race: The Secret To A Sub 1:30 Half Marathon, Racing When You Don't Have An Edge, & Finding Self Motivation

Have you ever wanted to run with me in person? Live in NYC? Well, you can! I’m hosting a community run here in NYC 9/30 starting and ending at the FICS studio in Manhattan. The run will be about 3 miles of a recovery pace (NO PACE IS TOO SLOW) and afterwards we can hang, eat some snacks, and chat.

    (Register here)

On this episode, I’m going to talk to you guys about how to run YOUR own race, or rather how to get out of your own head of what you think you should be doing and just DO THE THING. I get into how that philosophy has helped me to help the athletes I coach towards HUGE PRs, or how I watched my runner this weekend break 1:30 in the half marathon, as well as push myself to a 1:18 (or 6 minute mile pace) for 13.1 miles of “I don't wanna do this... but I’m doing it anyway.”
Tune in to stay motivated as you train towards your running goals.

No Dream Too Big: How I Coach My Runners To Shatter Their Personal Bests, Embody Their Inner Olympians, & GO BIG ON RACE DAY

This is a coach's corner where I talk about what I see work in my athletes as they get stronger and faster.

This past weekend I watched one PR after the next with the runners that I coach... I want to dissect what I see working and why, as well as how I use these training principles in my own running as I go after big goals.
