The Matt Feret Show focuses on the health, wealth and wellness of adults, retirees, and caregivers helping loved ones. I interview interesting people, insiders, and experts to help light a path to successful living in midlife, retirement and beyond.
Getting older, planning for retirement, taking care of our loved ones AND ourselves is so much more complex and dynamic than stocks, bonds, annuities and insurance on repeat.
While those topics are occasionally covered, I kept looking for a show that discussed the "other" really important middle and older-adult issues like relationships, health, wealth, travel, careers, mindfulness, ageing, sleep health, retirement planning, Medicare, Social Security, financial advisors, caregiving, retirement homes and communities, taking care of parents or loved ones from afar, retirement time management, family dynamics, and so much more.
I couldn't find that show, so I decided to create it myself! Welcome to The Matt Feret Show!

This is Such An Important Show!

Anyone who has ever done any caregiving will appreciate this show. And it offers so much for retirees and adult wellness in general.

I love the variety of guests and the conversational style. You can tell Matt does his homework and doesn’t phone it in. I take away something from each episode.

I also appreciate thinking outside the box, as with decluttering.

Keep the episodes coming.

Thanks, Matt!

A Must Listen for the Over 50 Crowd!

I’ve become a recent new fan of the Matt Ferer show. I look forward to Matt’s insightful interviews with his guests who discuss topics on health, financial planning, and self-growth that are of keen interest to the over-50 crowd!

So far, it’s hard to choose a favorite episode. However, Matt’s interview with wife-and- husband-team Ana and John Mann who are co-authors of The Go-Giver Marriage (aired on August 15, 2023) especially resonated with me and what I focus on in my work.

Why?

Because they emphasize that you can have an ongoing, flourishing life as long as you live (yes, way after age 50) and discover brand new dimensions of yourself just as John Mann did when to his surprise, he wrote and published his first novel that was nominated for a national award when he was in his mid-60s!

I strongly recommend Matt Ferer’s podcast if you are over 50 and want to learn how to thrive in all areas of your life.
