    Moving Past Murder, with Collier Landry

    E106- This week on The Meg Rock Show, I sat down with Collier Landry. I found a Collier on TikTok and immediately became obsessed with his story. He is one of the most inspirational people that I have ever interviewed. Collier's mother was murdered by his father. When he heard a thud in the middle of the night, He instinctively knew that his father had either hurt or killed his mother. He woke up the next day to find his mother missing, and he knew that his dad was responsible for the disappearance of his mother, but not only the disappearance of his mother; Collier knew in his heart at 11 years old that his father was responsible for murdering his mother, and he was right. Collier has a crime podcast detailing the crime he lived through and other crimes called “Moving Past Murder.” He also filmed his documentary, "Murder in Mansfield,” where he confronts his father for murdering his mother. You guys are going to love this interview. She is a trauma-informed Licensed Acupuncturist, Teacher, Shadow Worker, Reiki, and Shamanic Tao Healer. She is also a Professor in Acupuncture at Alhambra Medical University. She is passionate about empowering people with chronic pain to step into their source power to heal themselves. You are going to love Winnie’s story, as she shares a little about her culture, how she has learned to step into her power and outside of the society, culture, and the programs of the world that her family's culture wanted her to live by and be raised in. We talked a lot about spirituality and science. She said, "If you want to see if something is real, set up an experiment, just like what you do in a lab...you test it." That's exactly how she learned what to do with her meditations and how she's learned to channel her healing work. She called on Jesus, and literally waited for him to show up. And he did!  Just like Buddha and all the other amazing spiritual beings that have assisted her in healing other people.     The Enneagram Mom, with Tess O'Driscoll

    #099 - This week on The Meg Rock Show, I was able to sit down with Tess O’Driscoll. Tess is an Enneagram Coach. The Enneagram is a system of personalized typing that describes patterns and how people interpret the world and manage their emotions, this system is ancient. The Enneagram describes nine personality types and maps, each of these types on a nine-point pentagram, which helps to illustrate how the types relate to one another. This system for understanding personality types is fascinating. In this podcast episode, Tess talks a lot about working with women to strengthen their understanding of themselves and their families. So once you understand your Enneagram number, you can have a deeper connection with yourself, but obviously, a better relationship with other people around you because you have more empathy and you understand that we are all different and that's okay. It's just learning how to communicate and meet each other's needs, it's really why we're here. To understand how to get along with one another, to understand the people's strengths and people's weaknesses. Once we understand this about ourselves and about other people, we can move through the world with a lot clearer understanding that it's okay, that we are all different.
