Knicks and Pacers Move On, Who’s Getting the Blame in Philly, and It’s Time to Give Brunson His Flowers

Verno and KOC go through Thursday night’s set of elimination games, starting with the Knicks surviving the 76ers and advancing to the next round (01:07). They debate who’ll get the blame in Philadelphia (other than Tobais Harris), how Jalen Brunson remains vastly underrated despite putting up Steph Curry-like numbers, and why Tyrese Maxey’s emergence is enough to keep Joel Embiid around for at least one more season. They then move on to the Pacers eliminating the Bucks, preview Game 6 between the Mavs and Clippers, and their wish for a Game 7 in the Cavs-Magic series (27:54). They last share their excitement for the Nuggets-Timberwolves series to begin this weekend (50:03).

Playoff Murray Is Real, Superstar Ant, and Where Do the Lakers Go From Here? Plus: Bucks and Sixers on the Brink of Elimination

Verno and KOC recap Monday night's slate of playoff basketball, starting with another Jamal Murray game-winning shot for the Nuggets, who eliminate the Lakers (01:06). They discuss Murray’s rise as a playoff performer and debate what the future holds for the Lakers, as well as for LeBron James. Also, they discuss the Thunder's dominance over the Pelicans in their sweep, and the impact of possibly losing Kristaps Porzingis for the Celtics (27:16). The guys discuss how impressive Jalen Brunson was in the Knicks' Game 4 win over the Sixers, as well as Joel Embiid continuing his poor postseason play (44:05). Next, the guys debate the Bucks' future as they are in a 3-1 hole to the Pacers, and discuss how the Magic defense has completely blanked the Cavs (01:03:57). Lastly, they discuss the awesome Clippers-Mavs game from over the weekend, and preview Game 5 scheduled for Wednesday night (01:20:47).

Awesome NBA analysis!

Been a long time listener and was on the fence actually with these guys but their chemistry has grown and it’s really worth the listen. KOC is such an excellent and brilliant analyst, it’s always great to hear his breakdowns. Verno can ramble a bit at times but his old school thoughts do have merit. Give them a shot! Keep it up guys! Kevin O'Insufferable

KOC used to be one of the better basketball analysts online but in recent years has built his own narratives and sets out to prove those narratives to be true, regardless of what's happening on the court. Cherry picks what stats and games he wants to talk about and complete ignores any stat, eye test, or final score that proves him wrong (and there is almost always something to prove him wrong).
