Finding Peace with Your Body's Natural Weight

As women over 40, our bodies go through so many changes, and that final 5-15 lbs can feel impossible to shed and seem like we're in a constant battle with the scale. But what if those soft spots are a part of our strength and beauty?  Join me this week in the unpacking of self-acceptance, improved health, finding peace with your body, and embracing our natural weight.  Let's redefine what it means to be strong and healthy, and hold space for both a desire to lose those last few pounds, and a desire to stop worrying so damn much. Both are an option. These pounds can result in years of disordered eating habits, low self worth and self confidence, and seemingly endless dissatisfaction with our body... That actually might very well be healthy, but not quite good enough to our mind.  Today I share my personal experience with this life-long struggle, and the strategies I've used to navigate out of this default pattern, so I now know for sure you CAN accept the softness to your body.   You don't need to, but it IS an option.  If you're healthy and strong and can do the things you want to do, thee last few pounds don't make you ugly or gross or unhealthy. For many women they're just a normal part of their body.  You CAN lose them if you want, but you also don't have to.  Either way in today's episode I offer you a positive and empowering framework to make changes from.  Xox, Gwen. I help 40 + women get their SPARKLE back! By recovering from chronic stress, losing excess weight, and optimising their health so they can create a life they're excited about. Because yes, it IS possible to be over 40 and feel more vibrant, healthy and happy than you have in years! So please, don't settle. Learn more about 1:1 coaching below.
