Fans of fictional audio reports will dig the heck out of this show. The production is excellent, and the tales entertaining. And it's perfect for long, boring drives!
Love it

If you like this you’ll like the Godfrey audio guide as well. I love the quirkiness of this type of storytelling!!

TLDR: Phenomenal storytelling, immersive audio design, and compelling characters portrayed through top tier voice acting. Plus, the music box tune from S3E4 haunts my dreams and I never want it to stop The Rest: The world of this podcast feels so expansive, so fleshed out beyond the confines of the tiny window through which we have the chance to see. The combination of exhibits that are so unique with the ones that are twists on familiar stories strikes such a delicate balance that both grounds the story in our world and lets it breathe in its own right. The tone is a lovely combination of wonder and existential dread, but the Guide’s personality lends an air of optimism and levity throughout it all. Dom Guilfoyle’s mastery over sound design and their acting range are so impressive, and the cast of side characters is just as compelling. The matter-of-fact, punchy humor of the first couple seasons sets the stage for some real heartbreaking moments in the later seasons, but there are moments of wit and charm to be found throughout the series. To top it all off, the themes of reconciliation and self-discovery hit so hard, and the ending answers enough to be satisfying, while still leaving a lot of room for interpretation and imagination. I’m probably forgetting other stuff, but even so, I can’t say enough good things about this podcast to possibly do it justice. So if you’re looking for a new podcast, please listen and experience the Museum for yourself
I’m so invested
