Andrea Wright and Joanna Pitt have known each other for ten years. They are both manifesting generators with Venus in Virgo, so it was a scattered and restrained love at first sight. Together and independently they have each explored various modalities of yoga, meditation, astrology, tarot and various other metaphysical and esoteric teachings and traditions. Thusly and therefore, there’s a lot to talk about and they thought maybe people might want to listen in as we all navigate this big, wide, Aquarian age together.

    The Hairy Eyeball of Saturn

    Hello and good day from our “interstitial” episode - not directly related to the TMZ feature that actually ISN’T showing up on anyone’s “HBO recommends” watchlists - and we do still have things to say about hashtag Guru Jagat and hashtag cult life…Hashtag whatever gets us more attention and ratings! (Hashtag “I was the cafeteria worker for a cult” Hashtag “I was ogled by a politician” Hashtag whatever sells.) But seriously (and what could be more serious) than talking about that stern teacher Saturn and what we might expect when it finally goes direct in Pisces…Pisces that vague foggy rather groggy dreamscape…so if our conversation meanders a little we’re just trying to keep things on brand…a little musey, a little dreamy.     The Mists of Drakkar Noir

    The veil is thin and so are the storylines as we meet on All Hallows Eve to discuss the second installment of fan fiction and literal magazine television. Origin stories, imposter syndrome, sexdrugsandrocknroll, folk wisdom, sound bites, and a guided meditation made to look really, really weird and sinister with red lighting and dramatizations of women in white veils shrieking up at the sky. We get it - most of this is for entertainment purposes only, and maybe speculative history sells (?)  Thus from the pages of another origin story (accompanied by Burberry and Ralph Lauren ads) springs a Greek Chorus offering an interesting narrative of someone we used to know. We’re still trying to figure out the actual story they are trying to tell here ourselves (yoga=bad?) and why have they still not mentioned that their main character * spoiler * hasn’t been alive going on three years…and therefore can’t comment on any of this?     Living Her Best Death

    We take a few beats and discuss the E! True Hollywood story of our yoga teacher now deceased, and actually at rest in Hollywood Forever Cemetery - so technically it’s all on brand (isn’t THAT something to think about as we approach Samhain and Day of the Dead.)  As ever we step back and have a conversation respecting multiple perspectives - trying to anyway - on a shared experience that produced VERY different interpretations from people involved. Ultimately - we all tell a story, we all sell a story. Are we buying a story? Then buyer beware. What is the cost, and who is making the biggest profit? (Spoiler - it is not Joanna or Andrea - we are definitely losing money on this podcast. You’re welcome!) We’ll be back to discuss Astro and possibly the next installment of the infotainment.  As sentient beings, at the very least, watching this mindfully - it’s fun to see our friend and teacher’s story told in mmm…creative, sensational ways.     Based on a True Story

    Pluto is direct and everyone is in its path. What does not kill you, cover you with sand, wipe out your property, blow up relationships, bring you to your knees and then kick out the scaffolding underneath you…doesn’t kill you. Congratulations! You’re still alive! Game on! Everyone is going through it - really. Truly. Everyone. Understand with Compassion or you Mis-Understand the times. And if you can’t see God in all, you can’t see God at all. (Except for that guy that cut me off, that guy can go…Lol. J/K. He’s just giving some butterfly effect.). Which is why we here at This Aquarian Life will always have a level of job security because there will always be another butterfly effect, another transit, another wedding, another funeral, another documentary, another breakdown, another build up, and another rebirth that comes down the pike that we can talk about. And because they will all have multiple perspectives we can talk about those too. And their reboots. And their animated versions. And the Broadway musical. And the documentary about the documentary Broadway musical.     Chasing Stability

    As we volley such topics as victim/villain/hero (the new animal, vegetable, mineral?), stability, balance, the 55th Gene Key and so much more, we acknowledge we are mere drops in the ocean of a collective besieged by war, hurricanes, fires, and an election cycle. But we’re trying to be good drops, healthy drops, since the part is in the whole and we’d like to bring good dishes to the potluck.     Try To Remember It’s Only September

    There’s so much going on in the skies and the world…is it no wonder we seek refuge in tennis documentaries and the Gospel of Gilmore Girls. Lean into the gifts and the shifts of these cycles as we move from Summer to Fall in the Northern Hem - and for all of us we get balance with Equinox, and free psychic surgery with the eclipses. It was a murkier retrograde we just exited (Andrea’s been dying to make that joke for weeks) but maybe - perhaps - there is some light at the end of the wilderness, the mists, the desert.
