Is South Africa Beyond Varroa Mites? You tell me.
South African beekeeper Chris Kroger visits the podcast to tell me if the things I've heard about beekeeping there are true or false. A chirping bird also makes an extended appearance. I'd love to hear your thoughts (not about the bird).

Bee talk with biology instructor Casie Berkhouse
In this episode, I speak with Casie Berkhouse, a biology instructor and beekeeper from Northern Pennsylvania. This episode, like most others, is unedited and completely unscripted. I'd love to hear your feedback!

Customer Reviews
No nonsense opinion!
No nonsense podcast in the vain of Kirk Webster and other treatment free beekeepers. Discussions and ideas are based on his own experience. Definitely offers a point of viewDifferent from what you find in your local Bee club for the most part. Good listen.
Genetics are the only answer
Bees survived the ice age and have survived on the planet for probably millions of years. A queen breeds with 8-20 drones for genetic diversity. Treatment free is the only future in bee keeping.
Keep spraying your round up, treating bees, and believe the studies sponsored by the pharmaceutical companies...
Nonsensical
Although I do appreciate what treatment free beekeepers are trying to accomplish, Bruce’s arguments are nonsensical and often hypocritical. It always boggles my mind that some of the top TF beekeeping speakers in the country have only a handful of hives or none at all.
