Come learn about conspiracy theories with me: from the played out, to the out-right bizarre. It'll be fun.

(Also, thank goodness I was not on the moon when they landed on it. That would have been scary for sure, for everyone involved, but I wasn't there so we will never know). Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/moon-landing/support

    006. Celestial Seasonings

Our magic schoolbus is taking a slight detour away from the land of conspiracy theories and into the world of cults. Don't worry, this particular cult doesn't bite, but they may have infiltrated your home... through your tea-cup.

    004. The Dyatlov Pass

    004. The Dyatlov Pass

"Abominable Snowmen Live in the Northern Urals"

This was the headline of a newspaper written by the Dyatlov hikers on February 1st, 1959. At the time, it was a joke, meant to pass the time and raise spirits. The legacy of that night, however, calls everything into question. What happened to those students? was the military involved? Do abominable snowmen live in the Dyatlov Pass?

    003. The Denver Airport

    003. The Denver Airport

What's not to love about the Denver Airport? $2 Billion over budget, twice the size of Manhatten island, and it comes equipped with its very own homicidally possessed horse sculpture. An ode:

    Oh, Blucifer!

    Tell me, please

Do you keep the souls of all

Who peer into your awesome eyes

    Flaming orbs!

    Please, oh please

    Do not fall on me

    002. The Philadelphia Experiment

    002. The Philadelphia Experiment

October 28th, 1943. The USS Eldridge is docked in the Philadelphia Navy Yard.

The story of what happens next changes, depending on who you ask. Edward Dudgeon says the ship underwent a routine degaussing procedure. Carl Allen and Al Bielek claim that it travelled through time and space. The Navy claims the ship was never there.

    001. Phantom Cosmonauts

    001. Phantom Cosmonauts

The USSR made history on April 12, 1961 when it sent Yuri Gagarin - hero and heartthrob - into space. On this monumental day, the Soviet Union won a major Space Race victory over their greatest enemy, the USA.

But what if Yuri wasn't the first attempt, or even the first to succeed? In the first episode of The Moon Landing Was an Inside Job, we explore the chilling theory that the Soviet Union sent others into space, that they died up there, and that they were wiped from history.
