The More Than a Song Podcast with Marty Mikles and Scott Swires

One of my favorite feelings from listening is how at home I feel. It is like I am listening in on a conversation remembering what God has done in Scott and Marty’s lives. Can’t wait for the next few episodes!

I’m completely biased because I co-host this podcast, but I will also say that I am also an active listener. I want to grow as a worshipper and worship leader. Sometimes that means allowing people and things to hold you accountable. Marty and I put ourselves out there and allow Holy Spirit to speak in our conversations. Sometimes revelation happens in the podcast, so I need to come back to what He said and allow it to have its work in me. I hope you do the same. Because He is worthy of our worship growing as we grow in Him.

The combination of Scott and Marty, their personalities, their backgrounds and experience as well as their heart for God and worship in spirit and in truth… it’s just the perfect combination for a podcast! This is brilliant! The kind of idea that just makes sense. You will thoroughly enjoy their musings not just on modern worship, but also their rabbit trails and their beautiful friendship whilst being challenged in your own theological thinking, praising, and worship leading. It is in my opinion the podcast I never knew I needed and is leaving me wanting to come back again and again! Thanks guys!
