Christian apologist and cult researcher VOCAB MALONE interviews NRM scholar, Dr. Michael T. Miller on his newly published book in the "Cambridge Elements in New Religious Movements" series, BLACK HEBREW ISRAELITES (Cambridge, 2024). We cover Bishop Allan Wilson Cook (Rabbi Haling Hank Lenht), Queen Malinda Morris, and the Independent Church of God - UNKNOWN ISRAELITE OGS! DESCRIPTION In his research, Dr. Michael T. Miller noticed a PDF of a Hebrew Israelite text from NYC 1925. In this livestream, you will "meet" mysterious author, "Rabbi" Allan Wilson Cook. You'll also meet his spiritual mentor, Queen Malinda Morris. Cook moved from Virginia to New Jersey, to Yonkers and Harlem NYC at the height of the Harlem Renaissance. He was contemporary with the beginnings of Wentworth Matthew's Commandment Keepers. He was one of the first Black Jews to call himself Rabbi. He was surprisingly ahead of his time in his thinking. He lived a tragic life; all of his children died before him, his Church unsuccessful. But his little booklet he published in 1925 survived in a few university library collections and can now be read by everyone around the world thanks to the internet, almost 100 years later. Dr. Miller's new book on Cambridge features Bishop A.W.Cook aka Rabbi Haling Hank Lenht. For those wanting more details on Cook, this interview is for you.
