Going Thru It
We are Going Thru It, a weekly conversation between two sisters learning to navigate their own grief after the recent loss of their brother, Adam, who died of stage IV colorectal cancer. Born 11 years apart and currently living on opposite ends of the country, Holly and Jill Shakoor remain each other's best friend and confidant. Like a cathartic conversation with your best friend, or for some, an actual therapy session, Going Thru It will serve as a platform for human connection exploring the many layers of loss and love. So come along on this journey with two honest, sharp, semi soulful and empathetically entertaining sisters as they process collective family grief in real time.

Relatable, funny, beautiful. Holly and Jill have such a wonderful relationship that shines through the podcast. Can’t wait to hear more about their relationship with Adam, and many more stories about the Rain Forest Cafe.

The insight and honesty that Holly and Jill share is so powerful. They are talking about things I have no knowledge about but I feel even more connected to them after this first episode. This is love.
Love this so much!

Holly and Jill’s profound love for their brother is the guiding light of this honest and vulnerable exploration of loss. But it is a very positive and powerful discussion that I am so grateful they are sharing with the world.
