Everything about this podcast is great! Very informative with excellent explanations as well as execution of the story. I also love the fact that there is not any annoying background noise/music that other podcast uses. I’m definitely a fan. Keep up the good work, Sis.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Great stories, fresh take on true crime

I love these stories because they are narratives not heard in the media or other platforms. Listening to these stories being told is almost as reading a book or a morning newspaper about the latest choas in this world. I'm a avid true crime fan and I don't see what the previous commenter is talking about because I don't see any insentive or misinformaing about the content. I'm from Chicago amd the Diamond and Tionda Bradley Sisters are one of my favorites along the episode about Melissa Morr. A lot of true crime shows regurgiatte the same stories in the same style. This one doesn't - it combines a little bit of news reporting blended with good narration. True crime is the retelling of real stories and not for the faint of heart. Great job, No Tears. I LOVE YOUR CONTENT!
Cheap knock off of another well know podcast

Misinformation and Insensitive Format
2023/09/22
I am a fervent listener of Black True Crime and thought this show sounded promising. The first issue was the storytelling. While I appreciate vivid details, this podcast feels like fiction due to the writing including unnecessary words and impossible to know details like “she swallowed hard as the wind caused her hair to float in the breeze”. It feels insensitive. The second issue is the many errors in the story. Specifically in the Diamond and Tionda Bradley episode, the mom is misnamed multiple times. The girls are described as “twins” which isn’t true. I understand the episodes are short, but being familiar with all of these stories, key pieces are missing. If this is a call to action, let’s not call it “thrilling” and save the “stirring” narration. I implore listeners to support other Black True Crime podcasts and pass on this one until they make some necessary adjustments.
