Addictive and Insightful
Great musical podcast; Matt is so thoughtful and articulate as to why the song and/or moment struck him…and Pete’s deep musical knowledge is just the right amount of insight that adds such dimensions to songs I’ve heard hundred of times like ‘Redemption Song’ - I’ll never listen to those songs the same way - thanks guys and great job!
Love the illumination
This podcast might be bite-sized, but it's quite a satisfying snack.
I loved hearing Pete break down Bob Marley's "Redemption Song" and highlight the significance of a single chord. Made me appreciate that track in a whole new way.
Excited for more illumination and music lovin' from Matt and Pete.
More please!
In the world of overly lengthy podcasts and pretentious projects, I love both the premise of this podcast as well as its delivery! It's quite enjoyable to be pointed to details I might miss or moments I might not experience without the "musical tour guide" each episode. Matt and Pete both bring a unique perspective, and it's also fun to hear from a variety of guests and a wide range of songs. Can't wait for more musical moments to be shared!
