Episode 67: Interview with Demondrae Thurman
Episode 67 is an incredibly powerful, raw, and timely conversation with the truly amazing euphonium virtuoso, Demondrae Thurman.
From growing up in the housing projects of Tuscaloosa, Alabama to currently teaching at Indiana University and touring as one of the top euphonium soloists in the world, his journey through life and music is incredibly inspiring. He shares his perspective on many topics but most importantly as a musician during the current Covid-19 pandemic and also as a black man during the social unrest over struggles of racial inequality. His warmth, thoughtfulness, and incredible ability to communicate really come through in this interview so it's definitely not one to miss!
