Well, you know, probably not much happened while we were away, it'll just be a nice casual chat this week about the biggest leak of Xbox business operations maybe ever, Unity's ongoing destruction of its business model, a deep lore dive on the release of Mortal Kombat 1, the excellence of F-Zero 99, and maybe some other stuff??

Yep, this is the one where we talk about Starfield for like 90 minutes. It's a pretty big game! The Making of Karateka is also just great, Armored Core VI has inspired some mech fever, PlayStation Plus is getting a big price increase, Baldur's Gate 3 isn't getting splitscreen on the series S, and more. Great gaming podcast
This is among the most “professional” gaming podcasts, while still remaining casual and conversational. They are exactly the right amount of charitable to games they don't personally enjoy, and are still capable of providing insightful commentary without letting their personal feelings become the entire focus of the conversation.
This might seem like a little thing, but I value it a lot as a listener, and there are very few gaming podcasts that operate this way.
It also goes without saying the guys are very knowledgeable and insightful about games, and they are great having casual, substantive conversations that are engaging and well-paced.
Great podcast, highly recommended.
My go-to for video games
I’ve followed this trio for years and they’re my go-to for video game news and coverage. Plus, they’re great about covering non-AAA titles which is what I’m more interested in. Keep up the good work!
A gllimpse
Incredibly boring compared to what they did at GiantBomb or GBeast. The flow of the podcast is affected by them prefacing anything that can be prefaced in order to not get scolded by the scolds they've engendered in their audience. Brad and Alex are the living embodiment of the neo-lib world view and loud and proud members of the professional mangerial class it seems. Still games media is bleak right now so in comparison this has it's moments; every now and then you get a dose of Vinny's goofiness.
