The Nicole Walters Podcast

I just finished the book “nothing is missing” which lead me here and so far the podcast is a good, but the book was great I was able to identify with Nicole coming from an immigrant family and trying to be a person with dual heritage. I carry my native heritage that my parents have instilled in me, and some believes that perhaps could be very updated and biased to a female, and the new heritage of growing up in the United States thank you for writing this book and clarifying that there is more of us. There are complex just because of the fact that we grew up with dual heritages and believes.

I was a longtime listener of Nicole Walters' podcast and supported her content across platforms, including purchasing her book. While her content was once relatable and engaging, things changed when she began incorporating political advertising for Kamala Harris into her platform. When questioned about compensation for these advertisements, Walters responded that she had the right to transform her platform as she wished, suggesting followers could leave if they were uncomfortable. After this exchange, I discovered I had been blocked on Instagram for simply asking about paid political content. This lack of transparency and unwillingness to engage with legitimate questions from loyal followers is disappointing. The recent revelations about campaign spending on social media influencers further validates these concerns. I'm choosing to unsubscribe from the podcast for these reasons.

Nicole has a gift of telling it like it is, practicing what she preaches, and is an actual expert. She’s my go to for advice. Highly reccomend this podcast.

I’ve been binge listening to Nicole’s podcast and it is exactly what I need to hear. And I think a lot of young people need to hear the amazing advice she shares. Sometimes it’s hard to hold yourself accountable but Nicole shares her real life experiences so you know you’re not alone. What a healing, encouraging, and intelligent podcast. Well done!
