The most relaxing spooky podcast you’ll find!

This podcast is like a glimpse into a conversation between two friends. It sets a fantastic spooky atmosphere while still being relaxing and engaging. I love that, as the listener, I’m not being talked at but rather, I’m listening along while they learn and exchange their own facts. This is a great listen!

I just love listening to people talk about their passions in life, and this is like sitting with great friends around a roaring fire late at night, everyone getting to share a little of what they are into.

Listening to Folklands feels like hearing music and stories by autumn firelight: equal parts eerie, cozy, and mystical. I’m eager to continue this journey with hosts Tim and Justin as they lead us on more explorations of the mysterious and folkloric places of England, and perhaps one day, beyond!
Spooky season, fall, cozy listening

This podcast is like a cup of cinnamon tea in front of the fire while the leaves tumble down in the fall. It is low and cozy with fascinating English folk history and excerpts of stories. I’ve been recommending it online and in person to anyone looking for an off-the-beaten path listen. I found this through Tim Downie’s involvement in BG3 and was wondering what other media he was in. Justin Chubb plays off of Downie’s energy nicely and also has a soothing voice - I should check to see if he reads audiobooks. My only suggestion is that the audio can be rough/echoing. The hosts also use a lot of “umm” “hmm” “ahhh” and other filler phrases which aren’t as apparent in video but can jolt you out of podcasts. I hope the hosts aren’t offended by this listener - I just thought I’d pass along that using non-verbal listening cues to help your guests also helps us, your listeners. I know that’s an adjustment and I’m nowhere near an expert. Just an enjoyer :)
