The Off-Killter Podcast

I recently discovered this podcast and am having a ton of fun listening along and getting to know the hosts. Fun games, lots of laughs, and their array of friends who join them always add something to the mix.

Off-Killter brings together the minds behind the Polykill network of podcasts for some loose chat sessions about whatever tickles them. Travis (from Polykill, Tales of the Lesser Medium, and Drunk Friend) and Briz (from...just Off-Killter) bring in a guest, often from the Polykill discord community, to chat, play games, and just have a great time. As a listener, I feel like I'm part of the fun right along with them.

This show is a bunch of friends coming together to talk about what's going on in their lives, their fitness goals, fun stories, or whatever they want to talk about. They're funny guys, and the show is a great time to hang out and listen to. I've laughed in very serious situations because of this show.

Close your eyes. Wait... open your eyes. You can’t read this with your eyes closed. Close your eyes in your imagination. Now picture in your imaginary head the 1989 music video for Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game”. Now imagine in the imaginary video in your imaginary, closed-eyed head that the video contains not one, but three Helena Christensens, all sandy and black and white. Pretty hot, right? What does that have to with this podcast. Well, I had to set a bar for sexual energy, so you knew how far to go the other way. They way your body reacted to those supermodels, this podcast will make you feel the same way... only opposite. But as serious as that Chris Isaak video is... that’s how funny this podcast is. And it’s in color. How can an audio medium be in color? I don’t know. Remember, this is YOUR imagination. Guess it’s more limited than I thought. But enough about YOU. Think of something else for once. Like this podcast. Listen to it. You’ll laugh. You might cry a little because of your imagination. But you’ll enjoy it no matter what. You don’t know it yet, but you’re already nostalgic for it.
