THE OLD ME DIED

Ephesians 4:22-23 (KJV)

That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind.

When the Bible talks about "the former conversation of the old man," it's talking about former behaviour, former conduct or manner of life. Now that you’re enjoying life as a born-again child of God, you’re required to let go of things of old. The places you used to go, you cannot go anymore. The things you used to say or people you used to know, you cannot entertain anymore. According to the Word for today, these former behaviours are corrupt, and the renewal of one's mind is the only and best way forward. 

Start your renewal process by thinking excellence and only seeing pictures of excellence. Focus your mind on things that are pure, just, honest, lovely, virtuous and of good report (Philippians 4:8). You can’t afford to continue with the old way of life; you’re different now. That old you died a long time ago; don’t feel guilty about that former you anymore. As you do this, the beauty of the Spirit in you will be revealed on the outside in an ever-increasing measure.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

I have been renewed and reborn by The Spirit of God, moulded after the image and likeness of God. From today, I think excellent thoughts, success, victory, and abundance in Jesus’ Name! Amen.
