    As expected, Mike Tyson looked old, slow and vulnerable while being outpointed by Jake Paul in an unedifying, forgettable encounter. But what do the incredible viewing figures - it was seen in 60m homes - mean for the sport of boxing? At least Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano turned in a terrific scrap and, out in Saudi, Gilberto Ramirez was too slick for a beyond brave Chris Billam-Smith.     Well, that’s a headline we shouldn’t be seeing in 2024, particularly considering Mike Tyson is now 58 years old and he’s facing Jake Paul, who is 31 years his junior. It’s the headline because it’s the fight an awful lot of people are talking about - even though we spend substantially more time talking about Chris Billam-Smith versus Gilberto Ramirez and the rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano. Yet there’s no denying that Tyson-Paul looms over the weekend’s action - and the sport as a whole.
