The P.O.D. Kast
Keep on rollin', baby. It's a monthly podcast where Bryan Quinby and John Cullen dissect a classic nu-metal album and wonder why they just can't give up thinking nu metal is good. Probably because it really, really is.

Nu Metal is such a funny genre. The music can go so hard, but the lyrics and personas that occupy it are truly goofy. Some are next level characters and this show 100% captures that. Bryan’s discussions of growing up and the area he lives in make me smile — also being someone that grew up in the Greater Bobaflex Area AND whose Dad adored listening to Delilah from soft rock radio on night drives. Also, yeah, I know someone else that added a sun room to their house using flea market windows. They probably got them at Rogers. 11/10. Fabulous show.

Love this cast! It’s awesome hearing Bryan because there’s so much similarity to my own experiences with the genre, especially being from Ohio too. Great back and forth between him and John too. Keep it up guys!

Like why Puddle of Mudd’s lyrics were so amateur sounding. And why scatting was cool but it isn’t now
Almost as good as Dream Theater

I love this podcast, but I love Dream Theater more.
