The Phobos Incident

In the late 1980s the Soviet Union sent two spacecraft to study the moon Phobos as it circles Mars. The mission lasted less than a year and only sent back 37 photos.  One of the photos reportedly shows the shadow of a spacecraft on the surface of Mars.
