Great Start!
I just started listening to The Pod-Men podcast and I think it's great! A lot of the comic or movie/Tv related podcasts are just letting you know current news; However The Pod-Men is a little different, along with giving you current news in the comic world they give their debates, criticisms and praises from multiple views of the different Pod-Men. Their spin on it gives each listener a relatable experience with each segment, as they bring up the excitement and concerns of the Everyman not just what critics say.
Their witty humor makes it fun to listen too and seem shorter than it is, true to their titles though, their reviews are not your grandmothers. If you are a fan of podcasts like How did this get made, ComicCast, The Superhero News, etc. Then you will love The Pod-Men. Obviously with it being a startup the production quality of the The Nerdist isn't there yet but definitely on their way fast. I hope they continue the great work. Oh and don't listen with your children.
