Great Show now with Landis but Schlegel, come on
Schlegel, doesn’t even watch the games and yet runs his mouth. He was so off about the NW game, it’s painful. Not to mention, he’s painful to the ears. Dude really needs to spend some time with books, expanding his vocabulary and he also needs a linguistics /speech class. The words simply avoid Anthony or he never put much any energy into his studies. Sounds like a meathead, carpenter sounded like for a long time but he’s improved over the years and I know Bobby. I know the secrets to his successes, which I’m all for, in this stupid conservative puritanical society. But conservative theocrats would get their righties in a bunch if they knew- all hypocrites all the time. Landis more than cancels Birm, come on America. He sounds like a 22-24 in a bar trying to talk to be the funny guy in the group, so others notice. Maybe, it’s who he is and it’s nice not to really grow up but thank god Landis, who is younger brings professionalism to the show. Austin, way to go after Day but we can tell you’re on the inside of the program. No one asks a coach, are you being stubborn. I loved it but most coaches would’ve been like who is this guy. Day recognizes he is, he’s goes on tilt every year which ultimately ends the season. Day most be a coach on both sides, scheme matters but the defensive talent isn’t there in the back-end or in the back-ups. Why hire an offensive line coach from Chip Kelly? What’s the knock against Kelly’s teams, especially Oregon. They’re soft and gimmicky. We are soft on the o-line and too small in the middle from Jackson to Wypler to a hurt Jones. Only missed Dawand on a few plays, I’d rather he transferred 3 years ago than hold OSU hostage. Dawand is an ok player, the recruiting is crap and we don’t develop lineman like UM. Truth! 2020 was a kick in the …. Which flipped momentum! Hutchinson way overrated, great white privileged hype!
Best OSU Podcast
Have listened to most of others. Like the chemistry and mix with these guys.
Re: predictable play-calling… perhaps it is by plan. Don’t want to tip hand before the biggest games. Make a pattern, break a pattern. Hold something back for the end of year/playoffs. I’d let it ride, and not push RD too hard for answers. He will appreciate it I. The end.
Better Audio Quality Please
Honestly, I had my reservations because I was die hard 4-6 fan. Bill is a great guy so I decided to give this a chance and I’m enjoying it but the audio quality is killing me. Especially, after the Arkansas State game. Couldn’t understand anything that was said. Please fix it! I’ll update my review after we get some consistent good audio quality.
Update: Audio Quality is significantly better. Thank you. Now a 5 star pod. I will say the revolving door of people on the show can be overwhelming but it’s still great. Would love for Bill to take the lead cause he actually talks football
