Unsportsmanlike Conduct Episode 114: Eagles Win (Ugh), Mahomes vs. Brady, & Rodgers Gets the Boot

Welcome to Episode 114 of *Unsportsmanlike Conduct*, where Farace, Tim, and Anthony are back, and nobody is happy about this Super Bowl result (except, unfortunately, Eagles fans). Farace is actively campaigning for a media blackout, Tim is equally miserable, and Anthony is just glad to be here for once. Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers has been kicked to the curb by the Jets, Farace and Anthony are thrilled, Jimmy Butler finally got traded, and NBA trade madness has Anthony finally showing up to weigh in. Let’s get into it. Super Bowl Recap: Eagles Win, and Everyone is Miserable Super Bowl 59 is in the books, and Philadelphia is celebrating—which means Farace and Tim are not. The Chiefs lose, and the world is worse for it. Farace, who actually likes Mahomes and the Chiefs, is devastated. Tim, also a Giants fan, now has to endure Eagles fans getting even louder—expect rants. Anthony, being the responsible one, will try to keep things balanced, but really, what’s the point? Brady vs. Mahomes: The GOAT Debate (and Why Farace is Already Over It) Is Mahomes closing the GOAT gap after another Super Bowl appearance? Tim will try to have a reasonable discussion. Anthony will look at the actual numbers. Farace will violently reject any argument in Brady’s favor and remind everyone that Mahomes is infinitely more likable. Way Too Early Super Bowl 60 Predictions We’re already making wildly premature picks for next year. Farace is still riding with Mahomes—because, obviously. Tim will try to be logical, then overthink it completely. Anthony will make one actually solid pick, but no one will listen. Aaron Rodgers: Thanks for Nothing, Now Get Out The Jets are officially moving on from Aaron Rodgers, and the Farace-Anthony Anti-Rodgers Fan Club couldn’t be happier. Tim, who doesn’t particularly care for Rodgers but also doesn’t waste energy on hating him, will try to add perspective. It won’t work. Farace and Anthony will pile on, roasting Rodgers for doing literally nothing for the Jets except collect paychecks and talk about darkness retreats. Who’s next for the Jets? Does it even matter? Jimmy Butler Traded to the Warriors After weeks of drama, Jimmy Butler has finally been traded—to the Golden State Warriors. The guys react to one of the biggest moves of the NBA season. - Does this make the Warriors an instant title favorite? - Will Butler thrive in Golden State, or will it just be another chapter in his drama-filled career? - Farace will still find a reason to slander the Heat, even though they’re finally rid of him. MLB Free Agency: Alonso Stays, Bregman Moves, Spring Training is Here! Pete Alonso re-signs with the Mets! Farace breathes a sigh of relief and totally knew this was coming (sure, buddy). Alex Bregman signs with the Red Sox. Tim shrugs, because the Yankees will still be better. Pitchers & catchers report soon! It’s officially time to overreact to Spring Training results. Join us for Episode 114, where NFL heartbreak, Super Bowl rants, NBA trades, and MLB relief collide for another round of wild takes, unnecessary arguments, and Farace and Tim suffering together over an Eagles championship.

We Stomped You Out S7 E4: 2024 New York Giants Recap Show

The 2024 New York Giants season is one that fans would love to forget—but can’t. From front-office blunders to one of the worst records in franchise history, this year was a disaster from top to bottom. And, thanks to Hard Knocks, the embarrassment was put on full display for the world to see.Offseason Moves: Who Came and Who LeftThe writing was on the wall for this Giants team even before the season started. The front office made some controversial decisions that ended up shaping (or sinking) the year:Key Losses:Saquon Barkley (RB) – Signed with the Eagles on a 3-year, $37.75M deal. He then went on to put up 2,000+ rushing yards and help Philly win the Super Bowl. Let that sink in.Xavier McKinney (S) – Walked in free agency, signing with the Packers, weakening an already suspect secondary.Leonard Williams (DL) – Traded to the Seahawks in 2023, but his absence was still felt in 2024.Adoree' Jackson (CB) – The team moved on, leading to even bigger issues in coverage.Sterling Shepard (WR) – A longtime Giant, gone.Key Additions:Brian Burns (EDGE) – Acquired in a trade with the Panthers to bolster the pass rush.Malik Nabers (WR) – Drafted 6th overall, the rookie was one of the lone bright spots with 109 catches for 1,024 yards and 7 TDs.Devin Singletary (RB) – Signed in free agency to replace Barkley but was nowhere near as productive.Drew Lock (QB) – Brought in as a backup option for Daniel Jones.Isaiah McKenzie (WR) – A depth addition at wide receiver. The Saquon Barkley Fallout & ‘Hard Knocks’ DisasterWe all knew losing Barkley was bad, but Hard Knocks made it 10x worse. The leaked phone call between GM Joe Schoen and Barkley—where Schoen basically told him to test the market—was a disaster for the franchise. Barkley later admitted that he didn’t even know the call was recorded, and once he heard it, he knew his Giants days were over. Fans watched helplessly as Barkley thrived in Philly while the Giants collapsed.Season Recap: Rock BottomFinal Record: 3-14 – The worst in Giants history.Offense: 30th in total yards, 31st in points per game – Not much more needs to be said.Defense: 27th in rushing yards allowed per game (136.2 YPG) – Couldn’t stop a nosebleed.Bright Spots (Yes, There Were a Few)Malik Nabers (WR) – The reason for hope, breaking the Giants' rookie receptions record.Tyrone Tracy (RB) – A surprise contributor with 839 rushing yards, 5 TDs.Dexter Lawrence (DL) – Still a force, leading the team with 9 sacks.Looking Ahead: Rebuilding from Rock BottomThe New York Giants head into the 2025 NFL offseason with a 3-14 record, the third overall pick in the draft, and a desperate need to turn things around. With Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen returning, all eyes are on how they’ll reshape the roster after a disastrous season.2025 NFL Draft StrategyHolding the No. 3 overall pick, the Giants have several directions they could go. While the quarterback position remains a huge question mark, the Giants must also address offensive line struggles, a depleted secondary, and a lack of depth at wide receiver. Can they make the right moves, or will this franchise remain stuck in a cycle of mediocrity? We’re breaking it all down on ‘We Stomped You Out’—don’t miss it!
