Camp Codger
A wise person once said, “getting old isn’t for sissies.” At Camp Codger, we may be getting older, but we still have a lot to say about everything from senior citizen stoners to how to teach old dogs new tricks.

This is terrific! I want more! One thing I’d like to contribute is that, after working from age 17 to age 70, it’s taken a long time to adjust to retirement. As a mental health therapist, mother, wife, perpetual student, etc., it’s hard to transition to not having things scheduled. I schedule phone calls, for example, even with people I’m closest to. Part of that is introversion, I know. I just found it hard to relax and accept that I’m not always scheduled. It’s getting easier. It’s like experiencing guilt or unease when I’m free. It gets better over time. I need to be patient with myself. Jane in Wisconsin

Is it OK to review your own podcast? Well, I am going to do it anyway. I really enjoy my role as a Camp Counselor at Camp Codger. Gary, Richard and I are three guys in our Golden Years who embrace getting older with humor, grace, and a willingness to keep learning. We are going to keep doing new podcasts as long as they are fun and as long as we think we are making a positive contribution to the lives of older people. We would be honored if you subscribed and joined us on the journey.
Very funny
