The Quiet Part Out Loud

I’m fairly new to this podcast, but every episode I’ve listened to so far has really blown me away. I hadn’t realized that while I’d heard some pretty vulnerable interviews of my favorite tv/film actors, I’d rarely heard any meaningful, walls-down type conversations with Broadway actors. Growing up, my Broadway heroes always seemed to have this unshakeable grit and glossy sheen of perfection at the same time, but this show is such an excellent reminder that all beings suffer. We truly don’t know what our friends, colleagues, or even our idols have going on under the surface. I really applaud the guests for their brutal honesty, as well as Bobby for expertly guiding the conversations, giving each guest room to breathe and answer thoughtfully. I’m so grateful to him for combining his two totally different talents into a very insightful and empathetic show that fills a huge gap in the theatre industry.
