On January 31, 2000, just hours after Super Bowl XXXIV, Baltimore Ravens star linebacker Ray Lewis and a group of friends got into an altercation outside of a club in Atlanta’s affluent Buckhead neighborhood. Within seconds, two men -- Richard Lollar and Jacinth Baker -- were dead in the street. Lewis and two friends, Joseph Sweeting and Reginald Oakley, were charged with murder. A media frenzy ensued, but in the end, all three defendants walked free. Less than a year after the killings, Lewis became a Super Bowl champion. He ended his Hall of Fame career with another title in 2013, and is widely regarded as the greatest middle linebacker in NFL history. He has made millions on and off the field since 2000 and always professed his innocence, but the victim's families still believe there’s more to the story. Host Tim Livingston ('Whistleblower') investigates the double homicide, one of the most infamous crimes in sports history, and unveils new evidence that paints a vivid picture of what happened that tragic night in Atlanta. Football, murder, and the man in the middle... this is 'The Raven'.

He definitely did it. Just sayin
Riveting

The Raven is a fabulous ride through the underworld of privilege and power. It’s a collision between inept investigators and prosecutors and the defensive attorneys who were ready to exploit their weaknesses. Tim Livingston is a sensational investigative journalist, personality, and storyteller.
Full of Surprises
2024/04/07
Never imagined this story would lead to a link with Art Moddell and the Cleveland Browns then back to the NFL and the Baltimore Ravens. Rap music even played a role. It is a sad story all around, especially for friends and family of Jacinth Baker and Richard Lollar. Thought-provoking, and the reporter made a conscientious effort to lay out the facts impartially.

Best Podcast I have listened to
2024/03/22
I’ve listened to dozens of true crime podcasts. Actually probably over 100. This podcast is the best. Truly don’t understand how anyone could not give them 5 stars
Just OK
2024/03/07
The ratings on here are misleading. Most 5 stars come before episodes were even released. This is just an ok podcast. This is basically just repeating what was already known. Clearly, the people interviewed have biased opinions. Some of the reviews on this podcast even show that as well. If you know the story, you really don’t need to listen.
Pointless
2024/03/08
I listened to all episodes thinking something new and revealing would be discussed, but that never happened. Not really sure what the point of this podcast was. Totally pointless!
Not great
2024/03/08
Interviews with a lot of background noise. Goes off topic with hosts own unrelated story. Slow paced with retelling of the same moments and a lot of unnecessary filler.
Background conversation is way too distracting
2024/03/05
Halfway into 2nd episode and I have to turn it off. The background conversations are too distracting from the conversation of the podcast. Unfortunate because I found it interesting…
Not worth the time
2024/03/05
No resolution or interview with Ray Lewis. Let’s lead with that. The last episode is weird. So while I’m at ATL native and grew up hearing about this case, it didn’t reveal a whole lot. I had hopes this would really bring about what happened but we still don’t know. Just broke my heart for his limo driver. Overall, unless you are bored, don’t do it
