Awesome Investing/News Podcast

I love this podcast. I did a road trip from Portland to San Francisco and I caught up on all the shows. When the show is available its the first podcast I listen to.

ESG: A Terrible Interview

Look, I get that these are supposed to be short and sweet productions. However, it is hard to believe that as complicated an issue as ESG could be so matter of factly dealth with in 13 minutes, the shortest podcast yet. No pushback or delving into any issues by Alex, it was almost if he was afraid of his own colleaque. For her part, she gave the game away by quoting a comment from a "red state investor" to Larry Fink's letter. She revealed herself as a Pilgrim to the new, new thing. No definition of climate or sustainability was given. Does climate really mean global warming? or some other meaning? Does sustainability really mean green policies or corporate/regulatory cooperation to make us pay more for lightbulbs, toilets, HVAC systems
autos, energy and keep those corporate profits rolling. As for sustainable, I have had to replace washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers at double the rate as those inherited a generation ago due to "green" new features. I can see where that benefits Whirlpool but not sustainability given all the resources required for greater product obsolescense. Social and governmantal standards are even worse thing given the diversity and partrisanship of our Country. ESG ids the duty of every citizen not corporations.

History of investing Tulipmania was well done

I just listened to the History of Finance episode. Well done. Am very glad Barrons is offering audio content - current and historical - for investors (long-term oriented, not traders/speculators). Please keep it up,
