I love this podcast, a totally unique voice

because I don’t like anyone among the living enough to do living human friendships. But I’d be friends with Mana. She doesn’t even have to formally ask me- just show up at my house with nachos, black copal, and your favorite whetstone sharpener. She’ll be greeted by my Norwegian Forest Cat aptly named The Dark Man, and myself, clad in the usual hot pink milkin’ boots and 20” machete strapped to my side. The woods behind my house are perfect for conjuration picnics and girl talk juxtaposed by the blacker than black shadows which dark from the base of one tree to the next. Because I hate friendships that smother like a Soprano’s bed pillow- When you leave, I’ll go silent for two weeks, before you feel a pull to pop into the leafy fray once again. Let’s roll darlin’. Every episode is outstanding, even the topics/guests I don’t normally have an interest in end up being fascinating and so worth listening to. Mana has a great conversational interview style that makes the podcast so easy to enjoy, even when the topics are loaded.
