Ep. 145 Becoming Incarnate with Tim Pawl
Are you of two minds about which model of the incarnation to adopt? Perhaps you are looking for someone who can offer an account of the incarnation that will fix it, not mix it. You might be in luck. Today my Palm Beach interns and I interview Dr. Tim Pawl on the metaphysics of the incarnation.

Ep. 144 Reconstructing Hell with David Anzalone
In October, I released an episode called “Deconstructing Hell.” I presented a way of critiquing different theories of Hell in light of God’s love and ultimate defeat of evil. I received a lot of feedback from listeners trying to figure out how to escape the argument. Today, I have with me David Anzalone to discuss how he thinks we should respond to the argument. We also have Constantine weighing in on the debate. So get ready for that.

Customer Reviews
Favorite Podcast
I’m not the biggest podcast subscriber, but I always make it a point to listen to every new episode of The Reluctant Theologian. Being a professional theologian, I’m often frustrated at the lack of quality and serious thinking that is typical of most theology podcasts and YouTube theology. You won’t find that here. The host, Ryan Mullins, is a world-class theologian and philosopher who has a particular gift for communicating erudite theological and philosophical concepts at a level that I’m confident my 16-month old son could understand. He platforms a plethora of scholars of different backgrounds, persuasions, and faith commitments, gives them a way to communicate their work to a wider audience than just fellow scholars, and asks probing questions to help listeners think through the ideas they’re hearing. If I could listen to only one theology podcast for the rest of my life, it would be The Reluctant Theologian Podcast.
Excellent Theology Podcast
Not only is this one of the best theology podcasts available, but Mullins is one of the most talented interviewers you will encounter. He does an excellent job of charitably engaging different views, presenting objections, and pressing for clarity. Don’t miss an episode!
Language
I began listening, but quickly stopped because two PhD speakers misused the language. They both said “I” when the correct word is “me.” For example: “ please join Dr. smith and ME….” NOT “please join Dr Smith and I…..” Please, if you are really PhD folk, use the language correctly.
