    That Ancient Ritual of Liberation

    A Spiritual Revolution+Ritual Of Building A Movement-Alon-Lee Green

    The Ritual House host, Tova Leibovic-Douglas and Alon-Lee Green of Standing Together have a deep conversation about the sacred work of building a movement for justice and peace. They discuss the importance of this grassroots movement that Jewish and Palestinian citizens are building together, alongside allies from afar, as well as how the work cannot stop. Alon-Lee shares the rituals that sustains him as he continues to works with his partners and team to accomplish a cease-fire and return of hostages as well as pathways towards aid. The theme of spirituality and the revolutionary spirit is part of this entire episode. Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel famously shared after the march in Selma in 1965 that he prayed with his feet.
