Mike in North Jersey and John in CT are back with Dave to give us the latest happening in pro golf.   Scottie Scheffler rises again to win the Masters Tournament in Augusta, while swirling rumors surfaced of Rory McIlroy signing with LIV only to be diminished later on.   We'll share the news and notes from the PGA Tour and LIV and see if changes are in store for both leagues.

Our longtime friends Canadian Karen and "Coach" Andrew Jacobsen join Dave to chat about their beloved teams going against each other in the first round of the NHL's Stanley Cup Playoffs.  It's the Winnipeg Jets vs the Colorado Avalanche going best-of-seven. John in CT and Dave open the new year chatting about the extremely exciting College Football Playoff semifinals and the potential playoff spot chaos in the NFL.   We'll cover a back and forth duel between Alabama and Michigan in the Rose Bowl semifinal, and a game that nearly got away for Washington despite a dominant performance vs Texas in the Sugar Bowl semifinal.Later in the show, we'll discuss the NFL playoff pushes and the nearly dozen teams fighting for a select few playoff spots in the AFC and NFC.

John in CT is back with Dave to break down the College Football Bowl Season so far.   It turned out to be a very exciting set of games including a thriller in the New Orelans Bowl between JSU and Louisisana, and a ridiculous comeback by Western Kentucky to beat Old Dominion in the Famous Toastery Bowl.  We recap what happened and look ahead to the next round of games including a defensive showdown at the Birmingham Bowl between Troy and Duke, plus the ACC Runner-Up Louisville playing against USC without Caleb Williams in the Holiday Bowl.Later, we chat about the NFL week that was which included wild games of their own.   Who would have seen the Raiders beating the Chargers 63-21?   There were upsets throughout the league including another win for Carroll's Seahawks over Jalen Hurts' Eagles on Monday Night.  Time permitting, we'll dig into the ongoing trainwreck between the PGA and the LIV Tour in pro Golf.  This will be the last podcast of the calendar year, so we'll try to go out with a bang.

John in CT rejoins Dave after our podcast's lengthy hiatus to preview the many fun bowls in store during Bowl Season, and as we do each year, we'll give our "Bowls We Love" followed by our "Bowls We Would Not Have in our Back Yard."Time permitting, we'll offer College Playoff predictions plus our discussion on the massive sea change between the LIV Tour and the PGA Tour with LIV signing Jon Rahm to a massive contract.

John returns to recap a very fun week of football including a thriller in Boulder where USC held off a crazy rally by Colorado to beat Team Prime. We also get into the NFL action where the Chiefs had a real scare at MetLife but still survived the Jets on Sunday Night. Later, we segue to the 2023 Ryder Cup where Team Europe held off a serious rally from Team U.S.A. to win the tournament in Rome, Italy. All this and more plus we'll preview the week's games in both College and Pro Football.
