The Second Season with Christian Franz

Hi friends! I am back for more, and I am thankful that you're back for me too! I began the podcast series as an Instagram live-stream video series entitled Friends of Franz back in February 2021 in response to the many myths, misinformation, and disinformation disseminated during the commencement of the 2019 pandemic. I realized that most of the erroneous information spread online stemmed from those who had no business sharing them: not educated or trained in the specific subject matter and did not really have an idea of what was truly going on in the field. So I told myself: why don't we get actual educated and trained experts from different fields and specialties to have a platform to share their journeys, debunk field-specific myths, and virtually take us on a tour of what their daily work looks like?

Due to the popular request of the viewers, I transcribed the video series into the Friends of Franz Podcast to better cater to listeners wherever they are at a given moment. I am beyond grateful that, as of December 2022, the first season of the podcast has been streamed in over 80 countries worldwide and on six continents. And so, I am honored that the second season will be welcomed by the world to hear more conversations about different journeys, life lessons, evidence-based scientific data, and more humanization of healthcare and its workers. On top of this baseline, this season, please be prepared to expect more transparency, more complex topics, and more appreciation of the world and wonders around us.
