The Secret Garden - Chapter 7

Mary has been stuck inside while it rained outside for far too long. When she wakes up, she can’t help but yell to Martha, who is cleaning the fireplace. The sun is out, and Mary cannot believe the sky is blue. Mary asks Martha if she can visit her house, but Martha is worried she won’t be able to walk that far. Martha says she’ll talk to her mother about it when she goes for her visit that day. Mary goes into the gardens to play and meets Ben and his robin. After asking Ben again about the secret garden, Mary walks through the gardens, looking at what is growing.
