    Ever since I tried VR with my kid's Oculus, I can understand that it's a fun way to play a video game. But Guitar Hero aside, would I ever want to use in the bedroom? Demand for sex is a constant, but how people go about getting it done has completely changed. These days, people aren't paying to play for it like they used to. In 1948, 69 percent of American men reported having at least one experience with a prostitute (this stat shocked me), By the 1990s, that fell to as little as 15 percent. Why are fewer people paying for sex? Some blame technology. And now VR porn is coming into the screen. There are SIX major companies producing VR-related adult content, but at what cost? Sure, the technology is pricey, but don't we also lose the ability to connect with real people? Are we all doomed to end up alone in our parents'. basement with no appetite for real touch? People--mostly men--have been looking forward to futuristic sex since the 1970s, when the term virtual sex was created. But sex-tech is technology and tech-based ventures that are designed to enhance the human sexual experience. Sex-tech has seen a recent boom in mainstream acceptance due to a big push from WOMEN-led firms in the space--who knew, am I right? From tele-dildonics (yes, the name dildo is in it) which uses networked electronic sex toys to mimic and extend human sexual interaction to bluetooth-enabled smart sex wearables (that's right...a Fitbit for your clit)... sex-tech is ready to take your sexual health to the next level. But do we really need data on penile thrust velocity (yup, that's an option)? Or how hard we Kegel during the big O?     Deconstructing Deepfake Porn: Navigating the AI Nightmare

    In today's episode, we continue on our AI and the bedroom series. Today, we delve into the unsettling world of deepfake porn technology, specifically its impact on individuals, particularly women, who become victims of non-consensual content. Let me be frank (not like I'm not usually) and say: with 96% of all deepfake technology revolving around pornography, this is an issue that needs attention now. Key points we'll be discussing include: -Why people feel the need to use deepfake pornography -Examining the prevalence of non-consensual deepfake content. -Exploring the psychological and emotional toll on victims. -Discussing the legal landscape and challenges in addressing deepfake incidents. There's not many issues that I'm not open to, but revenge porn using artificial intelligence is reprehensible. And it's EVERYWHERE. And it's CHEAP. And if you're not targeted? Your daughter, sister or mother could be. And it's in the metaverse forever. Even if you can prove it's a deepfake, people will always associate you with a non-consensual video that was made of you. Without you. We would greatly appreciate your support in sharing this important discussion with your network. Anyone of us could be affected by deepfakes. Men, women or children. We have to make it stop.

    SEXBOTS: Are they coming for you?

    I remember several years ago watching the HBO aka Max show Westworld, about a world with very human like robots that were used for cosplay, violence and sex. Basically, it was a playground for rich men to act out their very feral fantasies. And then it all goes horribly wrong. The Westworld robots revolt. They start to think for themselves. Chaos ensues. And it freaked my S**T out. Look at the other Hollywood-isms–freaky doll M3GAN which starts killing people. Because she goes rogue. And who can forget The Terminator–these are robots–that have gone… again. ROGUE. Is there a pattern here??? Now imagine bringing one home to your bedroom. Sure, I understand the general allure of a sex robot–or sexbot–and we talked about AI in general in the adult space last episode. A sexbot is a companion, it’s someone that you can play with, nurture, GROOM. She is there for you whenever you need her…and it’s now a $200 million industry. But what connection can truly be perfected with a doll? With a computer chip in her silicone head?
