Join your hosts Stephanie and Michael as they explore the creepiest and most disturbing cases of true crime, the unexplained, and macabre history. We laugh, we snark, and discuss stories of morbid fascination. Our very existence in this world is a mystery, and the world is getting stranger all the time.
The Cult Of Joss Whedon
WE ARE BACK, baby! Michael and Stephanie discuss the life and career of feminist fraud Joss Whedon - a sociopathic cult leader and unrepentant sexual predator who preyed on women under the guise of feminism! Hollywood Con-man Whedon weaponized his carefully crafted persona of a simpy “male feminist” to achieve geek messiah status from the Nerd Mafia. Joss had a pathological craving for fame and admiration. He was determined to smash his name into history so violently that it would take on a legendary form…at any cost. Oh, and Michael gets salty about the flaming dumpster fire that is the Star Wars fandom.
The Spookies Christmas Special 2021 (Q&A)
In this drunken holiday special Stephanie and Michael settle some scores and talk about what’s ahead for the podcast in 2022, Michael does some truly appalling karaoke, we review the highly divisive Matrix Resurrections, and answer some absolutely banger listener email. Something Something Billie Eilish.
Richard Chase: The Vampire Of Sacramento
Sacramento, California 1978.
Over the span of a month, Richard Trenton Chase embarked on a grisly murder spree that left six people dead, including two children. Perhaps more unsettling, he ingested the blood of his victims. Richard believed his body was disintegrating and that drinking the blood of his victims was the only way to keep his heart from imploding. Was Richard simply mentally disturbed? Or was he actually transforming into a creature of legend - The Vampire! Join Stephanie and Michael as they bring season one of the pod to a shocking close with this absolutely disgusting story of vampirism and dog smoothies.

Fun dialogues. The hosts truly. Truly. Need to chill out and let the guests finish their thoughts. Holy cow. Just…chill out.
Stop interrupting your guest!
Ask a question and let them answer. Simple common courtesy. It was a struggle to make it through the episode. If you love the sound of your own voices then don’t invite guests.
Good potential- expanded vocabulary is your friend
Great subjects, voices are easy to listen too. Professional flow. But, why is there so much gratuitous vulgar language. There is so much swearing that it’s meaningless… like an 11 year old that just learned swear words and uses them in every other statement. It’s not edgy or impactful… it makes you sound stupid and I can tell that you’re not stupid at all. Also, it drags down your guests. Elevate your game! You have everything else in place.
