Was hoping that the announcement that Last Thursday was the last show was an early April Fool’s joke. Will miss this podcast.

Popping in to share (and I’m sure I’m not the only one) that it’d be a great time for these talented journalists to return. Maybe one day a week? We’ve started the best few months of sports (in the USA) and the only thing missing is the voices of reason and entertainment to make sense of the crazy/fun world of sports. Thinking about a return?! Hoping everyone is well!

I grew up watching Sports Reporters on ESPN with my dad every Sunday. This show coupled with being a lifelong Detroit sports fan was part of the fabric of my youth! When I was 13, Mitch signed my Fab Five book at Summit Place Mall in Pontiac, MI. I have followed his career ever since. A few years ago I stumbled upon this podcast and I felt really fortunate to to be reunited with my favorite sports crew. They have been part of my weekly routine where I have easily listened to over 400 episodes! I was really sad to hear that this was now coming to an end! Thank you for all the sports insight, camaraderie, and fun! Hope the sports reporters comes back soon……again!

So sad that the show is ending. My husband and I watched every Sunday when you were on TV. When I found the podcast a few years ago, we became loyal listeners. I’ve always marveled that you could cover each sport in a succinct way that was somehow all encompassing of the latest news. Thank you for being an entertaining and informative part of our sports fandom for all of these years.

Love these fellas, love the banter and the seriousness and non-seriousness at times. You all bring the mainstays I miss from the talking heads on television, as most of them are noise and hot air. I hope you come back with a new platform!!

I hope this isn’t something coming too late but your show is one of my favorites and I’m saddened to hear your content won’t be there on Monday and Thursday. I’m hopeful it is merely a break and for the record, hope you return to the pod universe sooner rather than later.

I was disappointed to here this morning that the podcast was coming to an end. Thank you for all the years, tv sports reports included, of information. Hope to here form you all again soon.

Since discovering the podcast a few years ago, you all have been my first choice for sports talk and I have looked forward to hearing your insights. I will miss that. I am 43 and was a Sunday morning viewer as far back as middle school. You all are pillars in my sports fandom. Happy Tails, until we meet again.

Thank you for reviving The Sports Reporters! The Sunday morning staple had been a comfort podcast for me since I discovered its existence, especially during the peak of COVID. Now that it has come to an end again I feel inclined to thank Mitch, Mike, Bob, and Tyler for their thoughtful insights on sports and the world. Bringing a podcast on current events in the sports world twice a week is hard work! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. I will miss spending my Monday and Thursday afternoons listening to this show.
