    How To Wear White This Summer: The Style Hour, Episode 6

    White is so fresh, and clean, and summery. It can also be tricky to wear. In Episode 6 Meagan and Shana talk about some of the challenges to wearing white, and how to pull off the look this summer. Here it is, admittedly rather messy…and, for good measure, with a matte coat on top. It’s a cool look…but Meagan stands by her argument that white matte nails TOTALLY look like dinner mints.

    It’s Time For Summer Dresses! The Style Hour Episode 2

    An easy little sundress is Meagan’s summer uniform, but she’s got some questions for Shana today: what dress styles are in (and which are getting tired?) What’s the most flattering cut for a mom’s body? How to jazz up a simple dress to take it beyond the beach? As usual, Shana’s got answers! Listen on for tips to inspire your summer dress collection (and beyond.) Bite Beauty lipstick in Zinfandel. * If your hair is in that awkward growing-out phase, Shana swears by a deep wave iron. It’s like a crimping iron, only…not. Other malarky from the show: Ladies, take it from 13-year-old Meagan: there are good rompers and bad rompers. (But Meagan did manage to find a good one at Target! In 2015, not 1990.)

    Dressing Your Age (Is There Such A Thing?) – The Style Hour Episode 1

    In this episode Shana and Meagan discuss jumpsuits and rompers, swimsuit styles that really flatter a mom body (Shana’s opinion? Show them cheeks. Her husband Mike agrees), and the return of styles that were big when 30-somethings were adolescents. Yes, that includes overalls. Meagan cops to considering this Modcloth jumpsuit. Shana says “mehhh…” to the print on that one, but “yay!” to this sexy, bright number and this sleek black jumpsuit with cutouts. She also claims that skinny-leg overalls are totally flattering and not too “Lisa Left-Eye Lopez” 90s. What do you think? All in all, they spend a lot of time in this episode talking about Meagan’s butt, and at one point Meagan has to take her pants off mid-episode to check the label. But really, this one’s all about dressing gracefully and stylishly as you get older – while still looking like YOU. Enjoy!
