2024 Episode 9 - Weekend Review, what's going on at Notts, Midweek preview

Jarleth Eaton and Cam McFarlane return for the week's first episode of the T20 Blast Podcast. In this show, Jar starts by getting on his long run about England's loss to Australia in the T20 World Cup, and how he believes English cricket is in serious bother, despite Cam trying to convince him otherwise. It's been a horrendous weekend for Jar county wise too, as the Birmingham Bears lost to both Durham and Lancashire in the pod derby, leaving Cam extremely smug. The lads review the rest of the weekend as well, including asking how the Notts Outlaws have lost all five of their games this season, the only side not to get any points yet. Jar and Cam then round up the show by looking at the latest tables, before previewing the games happening Tuesday-Thursday this week. 2024 Episode 6 - Blast Off Review, Samit Patel, Luke Fletcher, Rob Yates interviews, Suday preview

Jarleth Eaton and Cam McFarlane are back with the latest episode of the T20 Blast Podcast. The boys come to you from Sixes Social Cricket in Birmingham where the two of them are smug after hitting centuries, albeit in very different styles. Afterwards, they turn their attention to what they saw at Blast Off at Edgbaston, where Derbyshire got over the line against Leicestershire, and Birmingham Bears managed to defend 150 to beat Notts Outlaws. Derbyshire reaction comes from captain Samit Patel, who hit 64 off 32 to help his team over the line, while Notts' Luke Fletcher and Birmingham's Rob Yates give their thoughts on their game. The lads then answer a listener's question about whether the T20 Blast has lost it's luster, which ends up with the pair on their long run about what could be done to make the competition bigger. Finally, Jar and Cam preview Sunday's action, including two games that they will be in person at in Hampshire v Kent, and Surrey v Somerset. 2024 Episode 5 - Somerset see off Essex, Lewis Gregory and Aaron Beard interviews, Friday Review, Blast Off Preview

Jarleth Eaton and Cam McFarlane are on the road, quite literally, in this edition of the T20 Blast Podcast. The boys come to you from the Cooper Associates County Ground Taunton, their new favourite ground in the country, where they watched Somerset beat Essex in an excellent game, including an amazing clip from the pair during the contest caught on mic. Jar catches up with Somerset captain Lewis Gregory and Essex bowler Aaron Beard after the match, before the two transition to the car drive home to look back on an eight game Friday matchday. They look at all the big stories, including Sussex getting over the line against Gloucestershire in a last ball thriller, Notts' collapse and ultimately defeat against Northants and Worcestershire winning their first home T20 Blast game back at New Road against the Lancashire Lightning. The two end the show with a preview Saturday's Blast Off event at Edgbaston, making their picks for Derbyshire v Leicestershire, and Birmingham v Notts. 2024 Episode 4 - Opening Day Review, Roses Shine, Nervy for Northants, Gloucs and Surrey start South with victories

The first slate of games in the 2024 Vitality T20 Blast are in the books. Jarleth Eaton and Cam McFarlane dissect huge wins for Lancashire Lightning against Durham, with an interview from debutant Tom Aspinwall who took 4/18, and Yorkshire Vikings against Worcestershire Rapids. The boys also look at two nervy victories for Northants Steelbacks and Surrey against Derbyshire Falcons and Hampshire Hawks respectively, and the shock of last year's runners up Essex Eagles going down to Gloucestershire. Plus, Cam has a chat with Fi Morris after her performance helped Lancashire Thunder beat Central Sparks in the Charlotte Edwards Cup. Jar also has interviews with two new Birmingham Bears in Richard Gleeson and George Garton from the Bearstival event on Tuesday, as last year's North Group leaders travel to Durham for one of eight games to be played Friday. The boys preview every game taking place today, including the game they're heading to, a rematch of last summer's final between Somerset and Essex at Taunton.
