TCP Daily: Ashwin and Axar Skittle England Again - India v England - Fourth Test - Day One

TCP Daily: Ashwin and Axar Skittle England Again - India v England - Fourth Test - Day One

India dominated England once again, on day one of the fourth Test, leaving The Cricket Podcast boys with a lot to review. England went with a left field selection, only picking one seamer, does that make sense on this Ahmedabad wicket? Ashwin and Axar were magnificent once again, is there anything England could have done to stop them, or were they too good? Will India finish tomorrow on 350-5?

All that and more (including your questions from Twitter), on today's episode of The Cricket Podcast.

Ep 84: India Win Again, Can England Recover?

India beat England, again, to win the third Test of their four match series. Jack, Ross and Max get together to pick over the details. The pitch, England's ridiculous selection and missed opportunities dominate the discussion.

In part two, the boys preview the fourth Test. Will England surprise us, with a left field selection? Are India looking for a Rahane replacement? Does anybody think England have a chance?

In part three, they chat about the England women's tour of New Zealand. Befor a quick mention of Australia and a trip to Pakistan to tick off the PSL.

TCP Daily: India Win v England on a "Questionable" Pitch - Day Two - Third Test

TCP Daily: India Win v England on a "Questionable" Pitch - Day Two - Third Test

India Beat England in the Third Test of their series, at Ahmedabad. The Cricket Podcast boys (Jack, Ross and Max) discuss day two, as the pitch disintegrated and spinners caused mayhem. Ashwin takes his 400th wicket, Axar wins man of the match, and Joe Root is the new Murali.

Were England bad, or can they blame the pitch? Is this the end of the road for Jonny “Pairstow” Bairstow? And was this two day Test bad for Test cricket?

Ep 83: India v England Third Test & the 2021 IPL Auction's Winners and Losers

India v England and the IPL Auction were the big topics in the cricket world this week and the boys (Jack, Ross, and Max) get stuck into both on this episode. In addition, they are joined for this episode by Nakul Pande, a regular broadcaster with Guerilla Cricket.

Part one (5 mins in) covers India v England. This Test will take place under lights at a new stadium, will this bring the seamers into the game? There are also going to be some big selection decisions for both sides. Where will Bairstow slot in for England? And will India go with three seamers?

In part two (46 mins), the boys discuss the 2021 IPL Auction. Featuring a run through of all 8 franchises and judgement on whether they thought they were winners or losers.

Bonus: IPL Auction Reaction 2021- Chris Morris cost HOW MUCH?

Bonus: IPL Auction Reaction 2021- Chris Morris cost HOW MUCH?

2021 IPL Auction reaction from The Cricket Podcast. Once again the boys are joined by Dan Weston to talk through the big news from the day. Featuring a run down of the most expensive players, discussion about some of the weirder buys, and why did nobody pick up Alex Hales?

By the way, this was intended to be a YouTube only show (but then it did really well, so we decided to share it here too), so the sound quality is not as good as we'd want for a normal show. Let us know what you think of us taking this approach.

Seriously though, $2,000,000 for Chris Morris. Come on...

B amaze ,

Pretty Good

Don’t always agree with everything they say. But definitely make me laugh every week - nothing too serious. Have solid views on the game. Not much more you could ask for.
