Brilliant podcast. Todd is slyly hilarious as always, and his ability to listen allows him to provide space for his super-interesting guests to speak in a relaxed and nicely paced way. Listeners feel like they are in the same room as the conversationalists. Given the frequently dreary circumstances of the present, dominated by angry voices spouting venal and dumb pronouncements, Each of these podcasts will revive your sense of how clear-sighted, bright, articulate people sometimes think and talk. I hope Todd picks this podcast up now and again.

This podcast delivers exactly what you’d expect from Todd: smart, subtle, wry interplay and a laidback, comfy vibe. Todd respects the intelligence of his guests and his audience. I often binge the show and still listen to this day. I’ve never listened to ASMR but I would guess that this delivers that sort of effect. I hope the show returns someday. Cheers, Todd!
