Arsenal’s stressful win at Spurs and Salah’s spat with Klopp

Jimbo is joined in the studio by Charlie Eccleshare, JJ Bull and Adrian Clarke after a dramatic weekend on and off the pitch.

Strange goings on in the North London derby but Arsenal come out on top against Tottenham. Man City also get the job done against Nottingham Forest to retain the advantage in the title race.

Must listen

I consistently listen to and enjoy most episodes of the show each week and would recommend the same to any other football fan. I was thinking about writing a review but unsure exactly what I wanted to say.

I see some of the other reviews are very negative and find that surprising and some even for reasons that are disheartening to say the least. Thank you for providing a voice and recognition to those who may not otherwise easily find it.

Euro edition is the best

Love the euro coverage! Alvaro does an amazing job covering Spanish football and the entire crew is also great.

I need the stats guru to find out an answer to this question: when is the most likely time for different individual strikers to score? My attention is on Mbappe. It seems that he almost always scores in the 90th minute. Is that because he doesn’t defend so he has the legs to take on tired defenders? It’s just so common it seems to find him scoring in the dying minutes of a game. I am a Real Madrid fan, so you know that scoring on us first is a mistake. We normally leave it late to score and I attribute it to superior athletes not tiring. But wow, mbappe scores I late winner every time I check PSG stats.

Anyway, the above is the kind of question that Jules and The James’s, Alvaro and the many other contributors are talking about and make this top three football pods. Producer Charlie, I’m glad you’re back! We don’t forget you!

Nice but… photos?

Decent pod. As a suscribir to a number of soccer/football pods-yes I am an American- it’s unusual to me that you don’t have photos up on the Apple pod feed. Is this a security concern? Perhaps y’all are too shy? Or unfortunately y’all are too embarrassed by your appearances to have them posted? I would hope not as the banter you provide is very entertaining.

Best,
Mark
