The Trial Lawyers College Podcast

I’ve done one weeklong TLC event. Changed my perspective and outlook on my practice. I wish I had discovered this 25 years ago. This podcast is always on my listening list before trials and whenever I need some inspiration about our profession. Great interviews with great lawyers.

I was certainly overwhelmed by the man formally known as Gerry Spence and what he did with his skanky wife.But after year I have finally let it go. Meanwhile, Rafe has done such a good job in communicating the difficulties that trial lawyers have had during the pandemic. Indeed, I believe there was a Judge in Brooklyn who had a line into Mitch McConnell as Vicki said. Anyway, I’m not gonna be the guy who dresses up in a duck suit, but I have learned so much from youse guys, as they say in Da Bronx, that I cannot tell you.

I listen because I have been to the seminar and want to keep that feeling and the teachings fresh.

When they are talking about cases, it is really brilliant. When they are consciously and concisely talking about issues that face Criminal defense attorney, it is also great. When they are just having a rambling conversation about nothing, it is really terrible--perhaps I am just overworked and always feeling rushed. Room for improvement, just like anything. I am going to keep listening for sure!
