What a Verdict Means (and Doesn't)

What a Verdict Means (and Doesn't)

Recently I asked the free From Hostage to Hero FB group: “What is the scariest part of trial for you, and why?”

One attorney answered, “When the judge starts reading the verdict. It’s the finality of all the hard work, late nights, stress, etc. and you know within seconds there will be a winner and a loser.”

A verdict is significant, but it DOES NOT decide who the “winner” is.

Listen to this episode to learn why not, and what the verdict actually means in your case.

Why “How Does That Make You Feel” is a Terrible Question

Why “How Does That Make You Feel” is a Terrible Question

Y’all know I hate the “hobbies” question. But there’s another question I hate and that is:

“How does that make you feel?”

There are several reasons for that, which I’ll discuss in this episode, but I’ll also teach you how to reverse engineer the self-coaching model to get at what jurors need to be feeling in order to take action for you.

I explain it all in this episode.

Chicken lttle ,

I’m not a lawyer but this is one of my favorite podcasts

I have hired Sari before and she was amazing. I’m not a lawyer and while I love the attorney whisperer she is just a people whisperer. Do yourself a favor and listen. If you want to move forward and feel amazing about you, your career, and your personal life you will love this. Brutally honest in a great way I appreciate.

Motivating

Sari’s podcast helps remind me why I became a lawyer in the first place. She has tips on how to connect with others in the practice of law and in life generally. I’m so glad I found her!

Love, love, love!

This is such an amazing podcast! We trial attorneys think so much about the content that we often don’t consider how it is being communicated and received. Sari truly is “The Attorney Whisperer.”
