What's good gang? We took a bit of a "production break" to sort a few things out but - WE BACK! S2E04 | You Good King? (Ft. DCL Podcast & Elijah)

This episode got a bit messy as I linked up with the homies from the DCL Podcast and my brother Elijah! Our conversation touched on Awkward encounters with ex's , Spinning the block on past relationships, Bheki Cele , GBV in Women's Month and the role of men in stopping the trend. Tevin reads out a few wild confessions from Confessions SA and Adriel reflects on how Bakithi almost broke his finger with some Karate Kid-esque moves. The boys discuss infidelity in relationships and Bakithi argues that most men would forgive their partner for cheating IF nobody else knew about it. Elijah continues to prove that he's a menace as he describes how he hugs all of his female friends in front of their significant others. We celebrate Elijah's recent graduation from NWU and he shares a story about how people from Potchestroom fight for fun on Student Nights. The conversation moves to Men's Mental Health and the boys share how they're feeling and trade tips on how to deal with life obstacles without losing your head. WELCOME BACK TO THE TRIM & CHOP PODCAST! On the first episode of Season 2, we kicked back with Investment Banker, Voice-Over Artist and Podcaster - Leago Papo. Bakithi gives a breakdown of how the podcast will change in Season 2 (01:20). Bakithi and Leago then catch-up on what's been happening in their lives since they last linked up and Leago shares his journey since graduating from the University of Pretoria (02:40). The guys discuss their experiences in the world of podcasting (08:00) and Leago explains how he got into the voice-over industry (10:00). S1E08 | The Creative's Curse (Ft. TK Sebothoma & LEO)

Bakithi and Swesha kick off this episode by welcoming two special guests to the pod, TK Sebothoma and LEO. TK Sebothoma is a rising actor/filmmaker who has starred in MTV Shuga, The River, Isono , Housewives and Kings of Joburg. LEO is an award-nominated artist/producer who has featured on HYPE magazine, currently specializes in Cinematic/Television scoring and continues to collaborate with South Africa's biggest stars. Bakithi opens up about a failed venture involving a "high profile" guest and gang discusses the complex relationship which creatives have with failure/rejection (09:21). TK vents about an interaction he had with a fan about Showmax's hit series, The Wife, and how the series has moved away from the original storyline in the book by Dudu Basani Dube (17:25). The conversation then moves to the shallow/superficial nature of the entertainment industry and the lack of representation of certain demographics (21:00).
