The Truth, The Vision, The Reality by Mr. Leonard Chew, A.K.A. P-O-P-E-Y-E

This book advocates for prioritizing education and truth to create a better future for children and society. Mr. Leonard Chew, also known as P-O-P-E-YE, presents his perspective on the world in his book The Truth, The Vision, The Reality.

This poetry collection invites readers to view the world through the author's eyes and explores themes such as poverty, Black lives, faith, and more.

Leonard Chew's book seeks to inspire and encourage readers through his impactful poetry. His writings provide insight into overcoming seemingly hopeless situations and offer thoughtful alternatives to harmful behaviors. Aiming to guide the younger generation, he teaches children about the glory of God, helping to rebuild their minds and lead them in a positive direction.

While the book is designed for kids and teens, it also offers wisdom for adults, supporting their daily journey of faith, salvation, and spiritual growth.

Leonard, now a resident of Annapolis, MD, grew up as the son of a sharecropper and welldigger. His interest in poetry began when he found himself without any immediate means of support due to the unexpected shutdown of a government-sponsored program. He found expressive writing to be the creative and sustaining outlet he needed to remain positive and to pull together the remaining pieces of his life.
