Stories from the women living in Tulum, Mexico – a podcast dedicated to give the female community of Tulum a voice. TULUMINIÑA is a travel guide for personalized private tours in Tulum, Mexico with focus on the environment and sharing knowledge about the unique region of the Yucatán peninsula. In her podcast, TULUMINIÑA – meaning „the Tulum girl“ – gives a deeper understanding about the community of Tulum, the magic of the place, as well as the environmental issues the people living here are facing. Since Tulum is a nurturing melting pot where particularly women bloom to bring their visions to life and TULUMINIÑA especially empowers female solo travelers, each episode is an interview with a woman sharing her personal story connected with Tulum.

    Interview with Anaïs van Sull, co-founder of Movida Maya

    Guided by her intuition in 2013, the sociologist Anaïs van Sull left her promising academic career in Belgium behind to start a new life in the Mexican Caribbean. But not only to enjoy the sunny life of a diving instructor – she wanted to give something back to the region with her gift of working with teenagers and her social engagement. Today, she’s the co-founder of the NGO Movida Maya holding the space for the youth of Mayan communities to develop a self-sufficient, sustainable life still connected to their roots.
